CATALAN CHRISTMAS TRADITIONS
Christmas is full of charm at our school. We sing Christmas Carols and decorate the school in a special way. Children and teachers, all together, make the decoration. You have some pictures from this year.
But maybe the most popular tradition among children is the "Tió". This is a small log to which children must feed from the first of December to Christmas Eve. This is to make him full. In this way “Tió” will poo out small presents on Christmas Eve after the family dinner. Children sing a song meanwhile they hit him with a stick.
